Turn a Photo, Video or GIF Into a Link Right in Telegram

You can now get a YourImageShare link without leaving Telegram. Send a photo, video or GIF to @YourImageShare_bot and a link to it comes straight back, ready to paste into a forum, an email, a website or another chat. It is free, needs no account and works on your phone and on Telegram Desktop.

How to use it

1. Open @YourImageShare_bot in Telegram and press Start.
2. Send it a photo, a video or a GIF. You can also forward one from any other chat.
3. A few seconds later the bot replies with the link and a direct link to the file, plus two buttons: Open and Delete.

Several files at once work too. Send an album of up to 10 photos or videos and you get one reply with a link for each.

In groups: reply /link

Add the bot to a group and it stays quiet: it does not read the conversation. When someone shares a photo or video that should live somewhere more permanent, reply to that message with /link and the bot posts its link for everyone in the group. Handy for team chats, clubs and project groups that keep sharing screenshots and pictures which later need to go into a document, a ticket or a post.

Keep the original quality

Telegram compresses photos that are sent the normal way. If the full resolution matters, send the picture as a file instead: tap the paperclip, choose File and pick the photo. The bot then uploads the original exactly as it is. Image files and video files sent this way are both accepted.

Delete it, or let it delete itself

• Delete button: every result has one, and it only works for the person who uploaded the file. Nobody else in a group can remove your upload.
• /autodelete: choose 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week or 30 days, and your next uploads delete themselves after that time. Choose Never to switch it off again.

Private by default

Everything the bot uploads is unlisted: it never appears in public listings or search on YourImageShare, and only people who have the link can see it. Uploads go through the same checks as uploads on the website, and there are fair-use limits per person and per group so the bot stays fast for everyone.

In your language

The bot answers in your Telegram language when YourImageShare is available in it, which covers English and 20 other languages from Spanish and Portuguese to Hindi, Indonesian, Arabic and Japanese. Its menu and description are translated as well.

Good to know

• Telegram lets bots fetch files up to 20 MB. For bigger files, upload on the website, which takes files up to 200 MB.
• Stickers, voice messages and round video messages are not uploaded, only photos, videos, GIFs and image or video files.
