Upload Photos

YourImageShare is a free photo hosting site: you upload pictures and get a link for each one. There is no account to create and no app to install. Use it as a photo uploader for a single picture, or for photo sharing with family, a client, a forum or a buyer, from a phone or a computer.

Photo Upload: How to Upload Pictures and Get a Link

  1. Choose the pictures. Press Upload Photos and pick one or more photos. On a computer you can also drag them onto the homepage or paste a picture from the clipboard.
  2. Upload. Check the previews, then press Upload. Add more pictures first if you need to.
  3. Copy the link. Each photo gets a page link to send to people and a direct link, HTML and BBCode to put the picture in a post or on a page.

Upload Photos From a Phone

The photo uploader runs in the phone's browser. Press Upload Photos, then choose pictures from your gallery or take one with the camera.

  • iPhone: photos taken in HEIC format are accepted as they are. They are converted on upload, so the link opens on any device, not only on Apple ones.
  • Android: pick the pictures from Photos or Files. Large camera originals are fine: the limit is 200MB per photo.

Photo Sharing: One Link per Picture, or One Link for an Album

To share a single photo, send its page link. To share a set, tick the album option while uploading and every picture goes into one album with one link, so a holiday, a product shoot or a batch of screenshots arrives as a single address instead of twenty. The person who opens the link needs no account and no app. More on this in sharing images online.

If the photos should not stay online, give them a time limit: see temporary photo hosting.

Host Pictures for a Website, a Forum or a Listing

Every hosted photo has a direct link that points at the picture itself. That is the link to use when you host pictures for a website, post a photo on a forum, or add pictures to a marketplace listing:

  • Website or blog: copy the HTML, an <img> tag with the picture's address already in it. The guide to hosting images for a website covers the details.
  • Forum: copy the BBCode.
  • Listing, chat or email: paste the page link, or the direct link where a site asks for a picture URL.

What Happens to Your Photos After Upload

  • Full resolution. Pictures keep their dimensions. JPG and PNG files are optimized to WebP so they load quickly.
  • Location data is removed. EXIF data, including the GPS position a phone writes into a photo, is stripped on upload.
  • Not listed publicly. A photo opens for anyone who has its link, and it is not added to a public feed unless you choose to make it public.
  • Checked on upload. Every upload goes through automated moderation, with human review of the cases it flags.
