YourImageShare Now Speaks 20 Languages

YourImageShare now speaks your language. Starting today the whole site is available in 20 languages besides English: every page, every free tool, the uploader, your account, notifications and the blog. Nothing about how you upload or share changes, and every link you have already shared keeps working exactly as before.

The 20 languages

Together with English, that covers the languages of well over half of the people online.

How to switch language

Use the flag in the top bar of any page. It opens a list of all languages; pick one and you land on the same page in that language. Your choice is remembered, so pages that have one address for everyone, such as an image page, an album or your account, also show their buttons and messages in your language. If your browser is set to one of these languages, the English pages offer to switch with a small banner, which you can close.

What is translated

  • All pages: image, photo, GIF and video hosting, the image URL generator, paste image, use cases, comparisons, the API docs, help and legal pages.
  • All free tools: converter, compressor, crop, resize, blur, watermark, EXIF remover, HEIC to JPG, image to PDF, QR codes, favicon generator, compare images and the online camera, including their messages and buttons.
  • The uploader and your account: upload options, passwords and view limits, the dashboard, settings, notifications, error messages and emails.
  • The blog: every guide is available in every language.

What stays as it is: the files you upload, their titles and descriptions, and comments. Those are yours, so we show them exactly as written.

Help us get it right

Each language was translated ahead of time and checked in several review passes, but a native speaker will always spot things we missed. On any translated page, open the language menu and choose Suggest a better translation. Point at the text that sounds wrong, type how you would say it, and send it. We read every suggestion, and good ones go live on the site.

Why we did this

More than 40% of the people who use YourImageShare read the web in a language other than English. Uploading a file, getting a link and protecting it with a password should not need a dictionary. Free image hosting with no sign-up is useful everywhere, so now it is explained in your language too.
